An unforgettable wedding in front of the Caribbean Sea
Vivianne and Marcos live in France and fell in love with our work, told us a little about the idea of getting married in the Caribbean and hired us over the internet to register the wedding on the other side of the world.
We met the family and guests at Guarulhos International Airport and right there we started filming this exciting trip.
Arriving at the Barcelo Bávaro Grand Resort in Punta Cana, we saw the couple for the first time in person and exchanged some ideas about the wedding. The next day we did the pre wedding on the beach and spent the rest of the day photographing the bridesmaids squad at sea with the bride.
At night we visited Cocobongo, the most famous ballad in the region (which became known for being the setting for the movie “The Mask”) and recorded all the fun of the crowd.
On the third day, we visited Isla Saona from Catamaran, which is literally the most beautiful island in Punta Cana (and is famous for being the setting for the films “The Blue Lagoon” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”) and took some pictures of the couple with family, we also did some dives to find the famous starfish in the region.
And finally, on the wedding day it was threatening to rain but it was an incredible sun, it was almost 17:00 PM but the sun was shining as if it was 12:00 PM … The ceremony was very exciting, everything went perfect, after the cocktail we went on the party in the restaurant closed to the bride and groom and then it started to rain (at the right time).
All the advice for both the wedding and the trip was done by the amazing girls from the company “Casando no Caribe” (You can visit the site by clicking here)
The ceremony and accommodation during the 5 wedding days were held at the 5 star Resort “Barcelo Bávaro” (which you can see by clicking here)
